Marty is one of the earliest pioneers in Legal Procurement. Having started sourcing the legal category as early as 2005, Marty has done groundbreaking work in Legal Procurement. He developed and implemented the strategy to transition GlaxoSmithKline’s high-value legal engagements (all matters over $250,000) to non-hourly, value-based fee agreements. This has been immortalized in the Harvard Business School case study GlaxoSmithKline: Sourcing Complex Professional Services (HBS 9-414-003).
