EMEA BENCHMARKING REPORT

The Buying Legal® Council EMEA Benchmarking Report (powered by BusyLamp) provides buyers of legal services with insights and information on rates in the EMEA region.

This information will help you negotiate better rates, develop reliable matter budgets, and professional staffing plans.

Please provide us with 12 months of rate information (ideally 2018) from a minimum of 15 law firms, including the some of the following data points: size and type of firm, year, country and city, timekeeper role, matter type, hourly rate of AFA description.

In what format should you submit the data? We are able to accept your data in the following formats (listed in order of preference):

  • LEDES invoices: Please provide the LEDES files of your invoices in a shared, protected cloud drive or as a secure FTP file transfer
  • PDF invoices: Please provide the PDF files of your invoices in a shared, protected cloud drive or as a  secure FTP file transfer
  • Exported csv file from your billing system: Using the export function in your current billing system, please select all fields available, and share the exported data via a protected cloud drive or as a  secure FTP file transfer
  • Excel file: Please complete an Excel sheet we send you and share the exported data via a protected cloud drive or as a  secure FTP file transfer

Will your data be secure? The data you submit will be treated anonymously and kept on BusyLamp’s secure, ISO 27001 certified server. Your data is thus protect for the highest level of privacy and data security.

Can you ask your law firms to submit the data? Absolutely, a number of our participants work with their law firms to submit the data according to our requirements.

What if you don’t have an eBilling solution in place? We are able to accept any type of data input as long as it meets our requirements in terms of data fields and types required.
